About Design Manager
Design Manager is the leading project management and accounting software for interior designers. Created in 1984 to respond to the requests of local interior design firms, it expanded into a nationwide software company and became one of the first providers of cloud-based design software. Because design firms have specific needs that cannot be answered by conventional software, it is our mission to provide a product that is dedicated to serving the design community. We deliver software that saves time, money, and frustration, while eliminating countless hours of paperwork.
Since 2020, Greg has led Design Manager, refocusing the company on building easier to use products and becoming even more useful to interior designers. Prior to leading Design Manager, Greg was the Director of Product Management at WordStream, where he led development of the advertising agency segment.
Greg lives in Brooklyn with his partner and two dogs. He is a regular on the erg at Row House and enjoys traveling whenever possible to Provincetown, Italy, Napa, and more. No matter where Greg is, he loves trying new restaurants and interesting wines.
Director of Engineering
He loves carpentry, mountain biking, and the Philadelphia Phillies, and he first programmed DM on a DOS computer—over two decades ago. Because he has programmed our software since a few years after its inception, he’s an expert at designing it to be comprehensive and user-friendly. When he’s not programming or directing research and development, he’s probably managing Design Manager’s accounting and financials.
Director of Customer Experience
Our head trainer, he instructs clients on how to correctly use DM, and if you’ve attended one of our webinars, you’ve seen his expertise firsthand. He’s been working with our software for more than fifteen years, his vocabulary is astoundingly vast, and he drinks coffee like it’s nobody’s business. His interests include his kids, listening to his extensive music library, and ending the day with a pint of ale.
Director of Sales and Marketing
Lindsay is a University of Delaware graduate (go Blue Hens!) and joined the Design Manager team after spending a few years working as a meeting planner and marketing coordinator. Her dad was a builder and her mom was an interior designer, so pair that background with her outgoing personality and she fits right in to the fast-paced Design Manager environment. She has enjoyed spending late nights helping the company grow. In her spare time though, you can find her taking care of her two adorably demanding toddlers, traveling, or cheering on her beloved Philadelphia sports teams with her friends and family.
Scrum Master / Project Manager
A dedicated photographer, she has a photography business on the side and is a master at noticing the details—especially when it comes to clients’ needs. If you thought accounting was complex, imagine explaining it to other people and writing our accounting help center articles (yes, she does that). She is an adept Photoshop user, enjoys gardening, and loves spending time with her family.
Senior Client Support Specialist
Besides his jeep and rock climbing, he loves helping customers and hanging out with his kids. When he refers to certain clients as his friends, we know it’s true. After working with our software and our customers for more than ten years, he knows a lot about tech, accounting and our customers’ specific needs.
Client Support Specialist
David is a black belt IT Specialist. He has an extensive background in Citrix and VM technology, remote access, datacenter security, corporate and hospital networks, Virus remediation, desktop and laptop hardware repair and performance tuning. When he doesn’t have his hands busy with computers you can find David outside. David is a passionate biker and loves being active every second that he is away from his computer. He enjoys making smoothies and drinking Kombucha while catching up on the latest Reddit threads.
If you visited the Design Manager headquarters in PA, you’d probably see Marty setting up a server while wearing a Microsoft t-shirt and drinking coffee from his favorite mug. For over 15 years, Marty has been maintaining networks for small businesses, so trust us when we say he’s an expert. Marty enjoys being immersed in technology at Design Manager and working with coworkers that love Microsoft almost as much as he does. Besides Microsoft, Marty loves anything Star Wars, watching the history channel, listening to hard rock and metal music, spending time with his family, and working on classic sport cars.
Ruth is our Office Manager, but truthfully she is the office mom. She makes sure everyone has what they need, when they need it, and does it with a positive, yet playful attitude. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to step into our Design Manager family. Ruth is responsible for our bookkeeping, billing, and office entertainment. Let’s just say she has a candy dish for every holiday and season. Don’t let her fool you with her fun-loving spirit as underneath that layer she is all business. She negotiates our contracts with a fierce, bulldog mentality and she is famous for her “office bible” where she keeps all of our business procedures at arms’ reach.
Hubert is a plant powered, passionate full-stack developer with a focus in .NET development stack. Hubert’s diverse experience includes roles in IT Consulting, QA Testing, eCommerce and Healthcare IT. At Design Manager, he is the lead developer in charge of coding the API, Mobile App, and everything fun. He is fluent in English and Polish and is an avid reader. However, his main hobby is road biking throughout Pennsylvania, the North East, and Poland. He is a vegan and enjoys trying new vegan foods and restaurants. Of course, that’s only if he leaves the house long enough to stop binge watching Stranger Things.
